Though this formal living
room was uncluttered, it looked tired, dated and not
especially inviting. The style pulls down the perceived
value of this home unnecessarily! |
|
With current furniture, art
and accessories this staged room is more in tune with
the target market for this home. With the furniture away
from the beautiful windows buyers can appreciate the
architecture of the room and imagine living and
entertaining guests in the space. |

This client's dated kitchen felt
uninviting and did not create an opportunity for
prospective buyers to linger and consider using this
space. Though the counter tops are mostly clear, the
items that remained did not display function or make the
space more attractive. |
|
The kitchen is a key
selling component of a home, which is why it is
imperative to ensure it looks its best. With a fresh
coat of paint, and an up to date counter top and
appropriate accessories, this kitchen is primed for
cooking and entertaining. A definite boost to this
home's perceived value. |

This dining room is larger
than it looks. With the clutter in the corner and the
table taking up the length of the room, it is difficult
for buyers to realize the room can accommodate a full
dining suite. |
|
After editing the china
cabinet, packing the items that were sitting in the
corner of the room and rearranging the dining table,
this room looks inviting. |

This room looks out of date
and cluttered with the large plant, TV and storage box.
The single painting nearly touching the ceiling does not
relate to the area in which it is used.
|
|
After staging this space
there is still adequate seating for the family still
living in there, and improves upon the conversation
area. The artwork and accessories are paired down
and neutralized. Several curtain panels were
removed to allow light in and the TV and chest were
relegated to storage.

This cluttered dining table
was used as a storage holder and was pushed up against
the wall. The family had not enjoyed this space in
years! |
|
Once the redesign was
complete, the table back to the centre of the space and
accessorized using only the items the homeowner already
had. This space is now fully functional and used on a
daily basis! |

This family room is a
mixture of furniture, and poorly planned conversational
seating as well what little art there is does not relate
well to the area as a whole.
|
|
This redesigned family room
now boasts of a cohesive and inviting space using the
homeowner’s tucked away art and accessories. Planned
furniture placement adds to the inviting atmosphere and
effectively encourages conversation while looking
through the windows to the beautiful view beyond. |
